Dehesa La Granja Grape Variety: 100% Tempranillo. Alcohol: 14% Vol. Aging : Thirty months in new French oak barrels and 12 months in the bottle. Appearance: Has an attractive deep red color. Bright aspect. Nose: Lush, perfumed and sweet on the nose, offering a range of wild plum and red and dark berry aromas complemented by vanilla, bitter chocolate, espresso, dried mushroom and baking spices. Palate: Lush and creamy, with solid tannins framing deep, sweet blackberry and plum fruit. Persistently sweet finish features broad, supple tannins and hints of smoked meat and black pepper. Gastronomy and Service: Should be drunk at around 18º centigrade accompanied by Castilian lamb and suckling pig roasts, stewed beef meat and certain small game specialities such as partridge a la Toledana. |
