Cosecha 2002 in American Oak

Grape Variety: 100% Tempranillo.

Alcohol: 14% Vol. 

Aging: 24 months in American oak barrels and 12 months in the bottle.

Appearance: Has an attractive Ruby-red color. Bright aspect. 

Nose: Warm, lightly roasted aromas of plum and cherry, plus a suggestion of licorice.

Palate: This wine is sweet and supple, with deep, ripeflavors of cherry and raspberry preserves and fully absorbed tannins. Lush, suave and long, with a lingering note of blackberry and a faint hint of vanilla.

Gastronomy and Service: Should be drunk at around 18º centigrade accompanied by Castilian lamb and suckling pig roasts, stewed beef meat and certain small game specialities such as fasan with plums.
